👨🎓 At Fondex, passing on technical know-how and supporting young talent are among our priorities. Today, we shine the spotlight on Rafael FERREIRA, an apprentice at our company who is passionate about mechanics and motivated to take on technical challenges.
💼 From the moment he arrived on 7 October, Rafael, a student in his second year of vocational school, came with a clear objective: to acquire solid experience in the industrial field while continuing his training at the CFAI in Thyez. Having chosen to specialise in toolmaking, Rafael is discovering what life is like in a workshop and the challenges that go with it, both at school and in the factory.
👨👩👧👦 The family spirit at Fondex appealed to Rafael even before he arrived. Indeed, several friends and acquaintances recommended the company to him for its expertise and quality of life at work.
Learning the trade of tooling mechanic:
Working alongside Laurent (head of the mechanical workshop), his apprenticeship supervisor, Rafael quickly integrated into the team and has already been able to work on several machines (wire cutting, digital lathes) and take part in the production of technical parts. Thanks to his energy and desire to learn, Rafael brings a fresh perspective and makes an active contribution to production.
As part of his 3-year apprenticeship contract, Rafael is developing his technical skills and deepening his understanding of industrial issues. By working at Fondex with experienced professionals, he benefits from high-quality supervision that prepares him for the job of tooling mechanic.
